Meet AJ and Cooper

December 17, 2006

CALL ME CUPID

On the day before her wedding, the last thing AJ needs is the ex she never truly got over showing up to complicate things. But when fate throws a curve ball and she wakes to relive the same day over and over, the only person who may know what’s going on is the one man she can never trust her heart to.

Cooper thought he wanted closure. Seeing AJ again proves he’s anything but ready to let go. With a Greek god in his corner he’s got all the time in the world to convince AJ that she still loves him–if such a bold move doesn’t push her straight out of his arms forever.

AJ Hanson

Thinks she wants: To move on with her life with a stable responsible fiancee who she can trust not to break her heart.

But really wants: To find a way to stop loving the man who once made it clear his job as a cop came before her. A man whose burning gaze still locks her feet to the floor and leaves her breathless.

Its too bad that Cooper wants: Her. Period. As if dodging him and pretending their kiss on the terrace didn’t mean anything. Try having to do it again…and again…and again.

And the worst that could happen: She just might be tempted to use this whole loop-day thing to her advantage, or is that take advantage of the fact that no one remembers the day is repeating itself…or so she thinks.

Cooper McLain

Thinks he wants: To see AJ happy, whatever or whoever it takes.

But really wants: To make AJ smile and known he’s the one who makes her happy. And he’s slowly realizing he’s not above relying on a little divine intervention to make it happen.

Its too bad that AJ wants: Him to steer clear. She’s clearly forgotten he’s the most stubborn man she’s ever met.

And the worst that could happen: His troublesome relative might ruin his one shot at making AJ fall in love with him all over again.

CALL ME CUPID releases in February from Samhain Publishing.

I’ve got one set to go in my next newsletter which goes out in another day or two. Plus I’ll be posting little teasers ones every week here after the New Year until it releases.
